On-line COD Analyzer

Detection Principle
Add a known amount of potassium dichromate solution to the water sample, and use silver salt as a catalyst and mercury sulfate as a masking agent in a strong acid medium. After high-temperature and high-pressure digestion reaction, detect the absorbance of the product at a specific wavelength. According to Lambert Beer's law, there is a linear correlation between the chemical oxygen demand content in water and the absorbance, and then determine the concentration of chemical oxygen demand in water.Note: There are difficult to oxidize substances such as aromatic hydrocarbons and pyridine in the water sample, and the digestion time can be appropriately extended.
