Conductivity sensors play a crucial role in measuring the electrical conductivity of water in real-time, providing valuable insights into its purity, salinity and overall quality.Toroidal conductivity sensors, also known as inductive conductivity sensors, utilize toroidal conductivity measurements in applications prone to challenges such as high fouling or coating, metal corrosion, elevated conductivity, and percent concentration. The sensors feature electrode coils that remain insulated from direct contact with the process, ensuring reliability. Encased in materials like PEEK/PFA, these matched coils are shielded from adverse process effects, rendering them ideal for a range of applications.
This product is a latest digital inductive conductivity sensor independently developed and produced by our company. The sensor is lightweight, easy to install, with high measurement accuracy, sensitive response, strong corrosion resistance and can work stably for a long time. It is equipped with a built-in temperature probe for real-time temperature compensation. It can be remotely set and calibrated, and is easy to operate. It can be used with SJG-2083CS meter, and can be installed in a submerged or pipeline manner to measure the pH value of water in real time. It has a wide range of applications.
Principal of Operation
Inductive conductivity sensors induce a low current in a closed loop of solution, then measure the magnitude of this current to determine the solution’s conductivity. The conductivity analyzer drives Toroid A, inducing an alternating current in the solution. This current signal flows
in a closed loop through the sensor bore and surrounding solution. Toroid B senses the magnitude of the induced current which is proportional to the conductance of the solution. The analyzer processes this signal and displays the corresponding reading.
