The total processing capacity of the county's sewage treatment plant is 5,000 cubic meters per day, with a total land area of 5,788 square meters, approximately 0.58 hectares. Upon completion of the project, the sewage collection rate and treatment rate within the planned area are expected to reach 100%. This initiative will effectively address public welfare needs, enhance environmental protection efforts, improve urban development quality, and significantly contribute to the improvement of surface water quality in the region.

The county's sewage treatment plant has installed automatic analyzers for COD, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus and total nitrogen from BOQU at the inlet and outlet respectively. In the process technology, ORP, fluorescent dissolved oxygen, suspended solids, sludge concentration and other equipment are used. At the outlet, a pH meter is installed and a flowmeter is also equipped. To ensure that the drainage of sewage treatment plants meets the A standard stipulated in the "Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard for the Yellow River Basin of Shaanxi Province" (DB61/224-2018), the sewage treatment process is comprehensively monitored and controlled to guarantee stable and reliable treatment effects, save resources and reduce costs, truly realizing the concept of "intelligent treatment and sustainable development".
